Hello there!** I am going to post some thoughts on this page from time to time about my fifteen-year long career (and counting) in live concert music, my swordfighting hobby*, and stories, musings etc. on how I fit it all in while holding a completely unrelated full-time job.

*Yes, Swords. Longsword, Rapier and other implements starting with my journey into it beginning last summer. The parallels i’ve been drawing lately between classical and Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA) are striking (no pun intended), and I want to share what I’m thinking about with you all.
